Langoustines in White Wine – scrumptiously delicious finger-food!

Personally, I think there is nothing more romantic or sexy than eating with fingers, licking off the racy flavours and sucking out wine drenched shells. So leave your ‘good manners’, pop a large bowl of hot water with loads of slices of lemons and tuck into the deliciousness ….

Ingredients:

Langoustines

Butter

2 Limes

Rocket leaves

Marinade:

White wine – about half a bottle

Garlic crushed, finely minced – lots! I usually use 1 large garlic (1 garlic, NOT 1 garlic clove)

Parsley – a good amount, freshly chopped

Tarragon, Chervil, Chives – small amount

Mild Chilli – large finely chopped

Lime leaves – 5-6 dried leaves crunched up

Salt & Pepper for seasoning

Process

Wash fresh langoustines and marinade in the mix for a few hours (the longer the better).

Drain the marinade and sauté the langoustines in butter, add some of the marinade if liquid is desired.

Serve on a bed of rocket salad with a few slices of fresh limes.

………….. oohh, if you’re with a special someone peel some of the langoustines and hold them gently between your lips. Ask your lover to nibble the succulent fleshy flavours from your lips whilst kissing. Enjoy!
